Order Process
Payment
We offer a secure payment facility accepting most major credit / debit cards through SagePay. When you enter your confidential credit card details your order is transferred for processing by SagePay. None of your credit card details are not stored on our servers.
SagePay is approved as a payment solutions provider by all the major UK banks including Lloyds TSB, Bank of Scotland and HSBC.
SagePayuses industry standards for secure encrypted communication over the World Wide Web. HTTP/SSL is supported by nearly all web browsers, including Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.
Once the transaction is approved by SagePay you will be sent an e-mail confirmation and we will receive your order. Using these safety measures means that we can ensure that the risk of online credit card use is generally lower than traditional "low-tech" transactions.
If you prefer to pay by cheque, please telephone first to check availability and delivery charges. Cheques should be made payable to "Winding Roads Ltd" with your card number and name and address on the reverse. Goods will only be dispatched when funds are cleared into our account. Please allow a minimum of 10 working days for cheques to clear. Postal orders are also accepted.
All credit / debit card transactions are fully security checked prior to dispatch of goods.
DETAILED CHECKS WILL BE CARRIED OUT, INCLUDING RANDOM TELEPHONE VERIFICATION.
Off Line / Telphone Orders
If you are unsure about placing an order on line and would prefer to speak directly to us then please phone us on 00 44 (0) 1332 799 866 to place your order, alternatively you can fax your order to us on 00 44 (0) 1332 792 527. Please include all relevant details when placing your order (Contact details, delivery details, products required, payment details, etc).
Returns
If you wish to return any products to us, please contact us on 00 44 (0) 1332 799 866 or by email immediately. Goods must be returned in an unused new condition and in original packaging within 7 days of receipt. All returned goods should be sent by Recorded Delivery or a similar secure service, within 7 days. Please include your name, address and invoice number in the package and reason for return. We refund 100% of the cost of goods only, we do not refund P&P charges as these are costs we incur on your behlaf. Special order items cannot be refunded.
Prices
The prices are correct at the time of posting. Due to circumstances beyond our control these can alter. All prices include UK VAT at the current rate of 17.5%. All transactions are charged in Pounds Sterling.
Stock Availability
We do not guarantee availability from stock for all items. We generally hold most items in stock, most of the time, but on occasions parts may not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. We aim to dispatch most goods within 48 hours of order, and deliver most products within 2 - 14 days.
Credit Card Fraud
Due entirely to the increase in credit card and mail order fraud, we reserve the right to send goods only to a card holders address which has been verified with the credit card company.
